I remember interviewing Jenny Eclair a few years ago. Over a nice cup of tea in her stylish modern house designed by her husband Geof she showed me her diary where she made notes after her shows. Except that the text on the page it opened at was unreadable. The gig had gone so badly, she explained, that her tears had smudged the ink.
Animal charity SPANA (the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad) is delighted to have received a bespoke piece of artwork from British comedian Jenny Eclair, which will now be raffled online
The annual Leicester Comedy Festival and UK Kids’ Comedy Festival Awards has taken place, honouring the comedians, venues and promoters that make these the largest and most successful comedy and kids festivals in Europe. The VIP awards ceremony took place in Leicester and was hosted by comedian Sikisa.
After a couple of weeks of festive specials it's back to the regular House of Games and even at the regular BBC Two timeslot of 6.30pm. This week's guests taking on those fiendishly clever challenges are Dianne Buswell, Jenny Eclair, Adam Gemili and Owain Wyn Evans.
