UK stand up stalwart and comedic giant in his home city of Newcastle Upon Tyne (well, that's what his press release says) Gavin Webster, after 32 years of treading the boards on the national comedy circuit, is finally going out on tour on his own.

Gavin Webster has posted the following on Facebook today and has given Beyond The Joke permission to publish it and run the picture.
"I found out last night that my old friend and comedy double act partner Eric Scarboro had passed away last Friday.

Classic comedy Gavin And Stacey is set to return. Co-creator James Corden has revealed the news that there will be a Christmas Special on BBC One.
In a picture that he has posted on Instagram he has shown himself hiding behind a script with fellow creator Ruth Jones. On the script it says "Gavin And Stacey the finale. Written By James Corden and Ruth Jones. 2024."
