Comedians Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont put their own marriage flaws to one side to judge everyone else’s, by inviting two unsuspecting celebrity couples to go head-to-head and decide who has the best relationship in this new comedy panel show.

Comedians Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont are on a quest to find perfect couples. Not regular couples, showbiz and comedian couples. Celebrity spouses just like them.

Jon and Lucy’s Perfect Couples (working title) is a new comedy panel show from Manchester-based King of Sunshine Productions, pitting celebrity couples against each other in a series of mischievous rounds to discover who is the perfect couple.

How chuffed were you to get a third series?

Jon: We still can't believe we got away with the second series. We filmed it through lockdown but it looked just like a normal series, even though we took precautions. So the third series was a breeze; we could go anywhere and do anything. The gloves were off. We've got the new house, new location, new people and it’s re-energised it.

Why do you think it's so popular?

Channel 4 has commissioned a brand-new series, Hullraisers from Hull’s very own Lucy Beaumont (Meet the Richardsons, To Hull and Back, Live at the Electric), written by Lucy Beaumont and Anne-Marie O’Connor (Trollied, Mum) and produced by Fable Pictures (Rocks, Wild Rose, Anne Boleyn).
