HarperCollins is to remove a story from David Walliams’ The World’s Worst Children following criticism for “harmful stereotypes” in its portrayal of a Chinese boy. The Bookseller reports that a new edition of the book will be published in March 2022 minus the story “Brian Wong, Who Was Never, Ever Wrong” and with a new character.
David Walliams is the subject of Who Do You Think You Are? which airs on BBC One on Monday, October 19.

What made you want to take this journey into your family’s history?
The celebrities set to unravel their family history in the new four-part series of Who Do You Think You Are? are Jodie Whittaker, David Walliams, Liz Carr and Ruth Jones.
