Graham Linehan and Adam Buxton are working together on a new sitcom called The Cloud set in space.
According to the Radio Times the comedy, being developed for Channel 4, is set on a 'data hub' floating above the earth which looks after all the information stored on computer devices, from funny videos of kittens to hardcore pornography.
Buxton is also set to be one of the stars, alongside Aisling Bea and Jamie Demetriou. A pilot is to be shot for the channel this Spring.
Award-winning multi-media comedian and DJ Adam Buxton is returning to London's South Bank for two more instalments of the cult clip-night Bug. The gigs will be on March 5 & 6 at the BFI and will feature a new selection of curious footage, music videos, and a deft dissection of some of the daftest comments on YouTube.
As well as being a formidable stand-up comedian Hannah Gadsby is also an expert on classical art. She brings these two skills together in her latest show, The Exhibitionist, which opens at the Soho Theatre tonight. Gadsby is Australia-based, but expect to be hearing more of her in the UK in the near future.
Some truly interesting comedy for you this week. Adam Buxton is at the Duchess Theatre for five nights from April 21 as part of the two-week Invisible Dot season, with his acclaimed show Kernel Panic, mixing puerile humour with sophisticated spoofery, David Bowie skits and inspired takedowns of YouTube comments.
Let the sky be black with hats, Adam Buxton is bringing his acclaimed Kernel Panic show to the West End for two nights in April - 21 & 22 - at the Duchess Theatre.
People might criticise Jack Whitehall for all sorts of things, but you can't knock his work ethic. On Monday night he was simultaneously guest-hosting Never Mind The Buzzcocks on BBC2 and putting in a star turn on C4 in Fresh Meat. And tonight he made it three channels in three nights with the first episode of Backchat on BBC3. In fact his stand-up show was on BBC3 at 9pm tonight too, making it something of a Jack Whitehall love-in.
Suddenly after the summer slumber in London the next seven days feel like a properly exciting week for going out to comedy.
