Dom Joly
Dom Joly, the legendary comedian, travel writer and columnist, best known for his multi-award winning television series, Trigger Happy TV, announces a return to the live arena in Spring 2024 with a new stage show Dom Joly –The Conspiracy Tour.
It is a poignant edition of Pointless Celebrities tonight. One of the people taking part is Tom Parker, who became famous as a member of boy band The Wanted and died this week of a brain tumour after being diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in October 2020. He was 33 years old.
Comedian and writer Dom Joly has said that a new Trigger Happy film is “possible”.
During an appearance on Steph’s Packed Lunch on Channel 4, Steph McGovern asked Dom whether, 20 years on, he might bring Trigger Happy TV back.
Dom Joly (Trigger Happy TV) is to release comic travel audiobook Such Miserable Weather exclusively on Audible later this month.
Seven new famous faces will take to the open road, as they follow a completely different pilgrimage.

Dom Joly’s hidden camera prank show Trigger Happy TV is returning.
The new eight-part series will run as short five or six minute episodes on C4's All 4, from September 26. Instead of carrying his famous oversized phone Joly will now be shouting down a ‘Big Smartphone’.
Other new sketches will include ‘Angry Cyclist’, a photobombing ‘Emoji Face’ and ‘Big Vape’.
