Comedian Hugh Dennis, probably still best known for his Milky Milky catchphrase back when he was in the Mary Whitehouse Experience with Steve Punt, David Baddiel and Rob Newman, has recently been seen in a very different straight role. He played a creepy peeping tom in the C4 drama The Couple Next Door.
Huge Homes with Hugh Dennis sees the actor and comedian unlock the doors to some of the largest domestic dwellings across the UK. In a celebration of everything massive, Hugh explores a variety of gigantic homes from the colossal Broughton Hall with its own private railway to a jaw-dropping island fort off the coast of West Wales.
Channel 4 has commissioned Strawberry Blond TV to produce a 4 x 60’ series of The Great British Dig: History in Your Back Garden for More4.
A pilot episode of The Great British Dig aired on More4 in April 2020, becoming the channel’s most successful one-off programme in 2020.
Mock the Week will return to BBC Two at 10pm on Thursday 22nd October 2020.
The series will run until February 2nd 2021, with a short break in December between episodes airing on 10th December 2020 and January 14th 2021.

Comedian Hugh Dennis is to host a one-off West End fundraising event of the Trial of Richard III in aid of Shakespeare Schools Foundation (SSF).
The unique production will see Shakespeare’s King Richard III put on trial for the murder of heirs, rivals, friends and wives on April 29 at the Novello Theatre in London.
The fourth series of Taskmaster is on Dave on Tuesdays.

The transmission date has been confirmed for the new series of Taskmaster, co-hosted by Greg Davies and Alex Horne.
Series four of the award-winning comedy game show will start on Dave on Tuesday, April 25 at 9pm.
The contestants taking part will be Lolly Adefope, Hugh Dennis, Noel Fielding, Mel Giedroyc and Joe Lycett.
