Mo Gilligan is to release a stand-up special on Netflix. ‘Momentum’ will be globally released on Netflix in 190 countries on Monday 30th September.
The show was shot at the historic Hackney Empire and features a full live band. The special was directed by Chris Howe with David Geli, Pollyanna McGirr and Mo Gilligan serving as Executive Producers. Co produced by Momo G, Mo’s own company and Lucky 17, the sister production company to multi award winning talent agency UTC Artist Management (UTC).
After selling 40,000 tickets in the past 12 months on his 'Coupla Cans' tour, comedy’s fastest rising new star Mo Gilligan returns for an exclusive charity special with all proceeds going to: Brixton Soup Kitchen, ACLT and Crisis. This jam packed live show will feature stand up, sketches, live music and comedy auctions.
The one-off gig will be at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on 13th December.

Channel 4 has commissioned a new comedy entertainment series fronted by comedian Mo Gilligan following his hugely successful Coupla Cans UK tour and highly praised co-hosting skills on The Big Narstie Show.
In the new 6-part series from Expectation, Mo will present his own entertainment show built around his stand up, strands and sketches, filmed in front of a studio audience. The series will launch in 2019 in a 10pm slot.

Social media superstar Mo Gilligan is to host his own one-off non-broadcast pilot for Channel 4. Mo’s Town will be an hour of comedy, sketches, music, celebrity guests and audience interaction.
Gilligan will be at the helm of a vibrant, high energy comedy entertainment extravaganza as he is joined by a variety of guests including fellow comedian and the man behind Big Shaq, Michael Dapaah.
Mo Gilligan is a busy man. In the last year his online clips have gone viral, he has filmed a C4 pilot with Big Narstie and has had to keep extending his #couplacans tour due to phenomenal demand. He is doing 20 shows at the Leicester Square Theatre from this month as well as a national tour. He seems like a nice guy too – he took his mum to see Seal at the Palladium – and could well be the next big thing.
Channel 4 Entertainment has commissioned Expectation to produce The Big Narstie Show.
Grime MC Big Narstie will team up with co-host, Mo Gilligan, to present a late night, alternative entertainment show.
In the non-broadcast pilot Narstie and Mo will be joined by celebrity guests as they present original, straight-talking segments on the news of the week, TV, showbiz, trends, phone-ins, and food.
Mo Gilligan has won the Best Comedian title at the Black British Entertainment Awards.
This year Gilligan has found huge fame online, thanks to the phenomenal success of own comedy content which he releases across a range of platforms. His sketches now regularly go viral, trend and are co-signed by some of the most famous names in international music. He’s already collaborated with the likes of The BET Awards, Disturbing London, Unilad, and Link Up TV, to name a few.
