Roast Battle
Comedy Central UK is to rerun two special Christmas editions of hit show Roast Battle.
The seasonal slanging match will feature Ed Gamble, Suzi Ruffell, Desiree Burch and Bobby Mair in heated head-to-heads (update Nick Helm has just pointed out that this is a rerun from 2018)
The judges will be regulars Jimmy Carr, Katherine Ryan and Jonathan Ross and Nick Helm will be making a special appearance as Santa.
The new series of Comedy Central UK's hit show Roast Battle has been filmed in London. It will return to Comedy Central UK on Monday 20th January at 10pm.
In the first show Laura Lexx does battle with Tom Livingstone and Drag Race's Baga Chipz and The Vivienne take on Denim's Glamrou and Crystal. Noel Fielding is the first guest judge.
The full line-up has not been officially announced yet but Beyond The Joke has heard that the following names below are appearing in the series.
Comedy Central UK’s hit show ROAST BATTLE returns for a brand new series, taking over Comedy Central UK from Monday, January 14, for 5 nights at 10pm, with every episode airing in another ‘ROAST BATTLE WEEK’.
Most comedians of the same generation are pretty supportive of their colleagues but there was a thread on Facebook a while ago in which a few comics expressed concern about the success of Comedy Central UK’s high-rating show Roast Battle UK. There was a feeling that insults hurled in the name of entertainment could be recycled in the playground in a much more hurtful way.
Comedy Central UK has commissioned a third series of the hugely successful Roast Battle UK. The series will continue to be hosted by Jimmy Carr, with Jonathan Ross and Katherine Ryan once again taking up their positions in the judging panel line-up.
The line-ups have been revealed for the new series of Roast Battle on Comedy Central UK. The series returns at the start of October and features brutal verbal battles from the likes of Chris Ramsey and Tom Rosenthal, Edinburgh Fringe winner Rose Matafeo and Naz Osmanoglu, partners Sarah Keyworth and Catherine Bohart, plus Alex Brooker and Rosie Jones. The host will be Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan and Jonathan Ross will be judging the jousting.
Host Jimmy Carr and judge Katherine Ryan are to return for the second series of the hit stand-up roast show Roast Battle. The five new episodes will continue to involve a mix of top comedians going head to head in an attempt to ‘take down’ their opponent. Each episode will culminate in one comedian being crowned the winner by the unforgiving judging panel. The series will air later this autumn on Comedy Central UK.
Comedy Central’s brand new Roast Battle UK series, which launched on the 15th January and aired consecutive episodes across the week, has smashed all previous ratings records, becoming Comedy Central’s highest-rated UK commission in its history.
Comedy Central has announced that their new series Roast Battle will take over Comedy Central UK for 5 nights in January, with every episode airing from Monday 15th January – Friday 19th January at 10pm in a ‘Roast Battle Week’ stunt on the channel.
