Taskmaster
BAFTA-nominated UKTV Original Taskmaster will bring together all five of the show’s series champions for the ultimate battle in a brand new two-part special, Taskmaster Champion of Champions, airing on Dave later this year.
The Horne Section take their show back on tour from the 8th September to 30th May 2018, including a return of their Soho Theatre residency in London.
This is where music and comedy collide, creating a show packed with brass-based fun. Expect toe-tapping tunes on weighty issues such as beards, caveats and Scottish widows.
The fifth series of Taskmaster has changed its broadcast date. Contrary to what you might see on some social media posts it now begins on Dave on Wednesday 13th September, presented, as ever, by Greg Davies. The latest competitors will be set a multitude of bewildering new assignments with the capacity to inspire both rank incompetence and utter genius.
The five contestants have been announced for the fifth series of Taskmaster.
They are Nish Kumar, Sally Phillips, Bob Mortimer, Aisling Bea and Mark Watson.
Meanwhile Noel Fielding has been crowned champion of Taskmaster Series 4, due in part to thwacking a Babybel a remarkable distance with a snooker cue.
The fifth series will air later this year on Dave, overseen as ever by Greg Davies and Alex Horne.
Comedy game show Taskmaster has been commissioned for a series by Comedy Central in the USA.

What can we expect from this series?
The transmission date has been confirmed for the new series of Taskmaster, co-hosted by Greg Davies and Alex Horne.
Series four of the award-winning comedy game show will start on Dave on Tuesday, April 25 at 9pm.
The contestants taking part will be Lolly Adefope, Hugh Dennis, Noel Fielding, Mel Giedroyc and Joe Lycett.
