Taskmaster
It feels as if the second series of Taskmaster has only just finished but the third series starts on Dave on Tuesday, October 4 at 10pm.
Greg Davies and Alex Horne will preside over five more comedians, all hoping to become the new Taskmaster champion.
The new contestants are Al Murray, Dave Gorman, Paul Chowdhry, Rob Beckett and Sara Pascoe, competing to take the crown from Series 2 winner Katherine Ryan.

It is no surprise that comedians are ruthlessly competitive. What I didn’t realise until Taskmaster came along was how cunning and crafty they can be when he comes to getting one over on their stand-up rivals.

Dave's comedy challenge series has already had one series and the second and third series are now being recorded back-to-back. The line-up for the second series, which will go out in June, was announced here.

Greg Davies and Alex Horne will return as hosts and they will be joined in the Dave series by Jon Richardson, Richard Osman, Joe Wilkinson, Katherine Ryan and Doc Brown. The new series is currently scheduled to start in June.
UKTV has ordered a second and third series of hit show Taskmaster for its entertainment channel Dave. Greg Davies will once again take on the mantle ofTaskmaster and show creator and 2014 Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Alex Horne will return as his assistant.
