Comedian Sindhu Vee is the latest guest on Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett's new weekly podcast, Dish.
On 23rd March 2021, the anniversary of the first lockdown, Angel Comedy and Objectively Funny will launch The Best Medicine Festival: A week of events exploring comedy and mental health sponsored by UKTV's award-winning entertainment channel Dave. This momentous programme of events, exploring the relationship between comedy and mental health, will include online workshops, panels and performances.
A version of this interview first appeared in the Evening Standard in late 2018, the year that Vee picked up an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination for Best Newcomer for her first full-length show Sandhog. Since then she has been on a veritable roll, becoming a regular face on television and voice on radio, appearing on shows ranging from Live at the Apollo, Mock The Week, QI and Have I Got News for You to Channel 4’s award-nominated sitcom Feel Good and Netflix's Sex Education.
Fresh from appearances on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You and Channel 4’s award-nominated Feel Good, Sindhu Vee has announced a brand new 50-date UK tour, starting in May 2021 and running until September 2021. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 30th October here.

It may come as a suprise to some people to realise how outspoken, frank and funny Indian women can be.
Having spent a bit of time in Delhi, where Sindhu Vee was born, I’m more familiar than most with this phenomenon.
But it is still a refreshing change to hear this voice coming from a comedy stage in the UK.
