Mel Giedroyc
UKTV's award-winning entertainment channel Dave has commissioned Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable , a comedy format which will air later this year.
Produced by Expectation, Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable invites three celebrity guests along to Mel's confessional each week to find out who's committed sins that are so bad that they should be declared 'unforgivable'. The competitive comedians will dare to sin it, to win it.
Mel Giedroyc has joined the cast of Darts Wives, a comedy which is the creation of duo (and sisters) Lauretta and Sharon Gavin (Gavin & Gavin). The show is due to get a work-in-progress performance this October following a period of development supported by PW Productions.
Giedroyc will play Trina, one of the D.W.A.G.S. - Darts Wives and Girlfriends – as well as the character Tel, who is a world championship level darts player from London.
For one exceptional group of people in South Wales, Christmas has come early. In an area that’s experienced some tough times, Mary, Mel and Sue will sprinkle their festive magic on its residents, who, despite their setbacks have pulled together to open a community centre.
The fourth series of Taskmaster is on Dave on Tuesdays.
Below are interviews with hosts Greg Davies and Alex Horne and the contestants this time round - Noel Fielding, Lolly Adefope, Mel Giedroyc, Hugh Dennis & Joe Lycett.
Greg Davies:
What can we expect from this series?
The transmission date has been confirmed for the new series of Taskmaster, co-hosted by Greg Davies and Alex Horne.
Series four of the award-winning comedy game show will start on Dave on Tuesday, April 25 at 9pm.
The contestants taking part will be Lolly Adefope, Hugh Dennis, Noel Fielding, Mel Giedroyc and Joe Lycett.
The line-up has been announced for the fourth series of Dave's adult-storytelling show Crackanory. The new run, in partnership with Audible, will see one narrator per 30-minute episode reading an extended story. The names this time round are Sheridan Smith, Dara O Briain, Doc Brown, Anna Friel, Mackenzie Crook, Miriam Margolyes, Bob Mortimer and Mel Giedroyc. As before, each story will be brought to life with live action featuring some of Britain’s best comedy actors.
Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins have already caused outrage in only the second episode of their new daytime ITV show. The show was due to close with Ozzy, a dog who liked to walk along a tightrope. Ozzy tried to do it but as the presenters looked on anxiously fell once and then at his second attempt he took a tumble and slipped off the rope just as he was about to reach the end and retrieve a squeezy toy.
