News: Daniel Sloss/Kai Humphries And No Such Thing As A Fish Added To Podcast Festival

More Podcasts have been added to the bill of Podcast Stop, the new Podcast Festival for London. Podcast Stop will take place in 2021 at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in February and March 2021.  

The latest additions to the Podcast Stop include Daniel Sloss and Kai Humphries On The Road on February 14 (pictured) – the two comedians have done the show in Europe but never in the UK.

Warner Brothers UK has launched a new comedy/movie podcast combining improv, movie knowledge and creative brainstorming.

'Because You Watched' creates brand new ideas for TV shows and movies based on obscure Netflix categories like "Deep Sea Creature Features" or "Gory Mad Scientist Horror Movies".

Adam Buxton has won the Pod Bible Award for Interview Podcast for The Adam Buxton Podcast. Second place went to Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast and third place went to Scroobius Pip's Distraction Pieces Podcast.

Ed Gamble and James Acaster's foodie interview series Off Menu won Best Comedy Podcast. Runner up was Sh**ged, Married, Annoyed. Third was Athletico Mince.

The Guilty Feminist, fronted by Deborah Frances-White, won Best Lifestyle and Culture Podcast.

News: British Podcast Awards Nominations Announced

The nominations have been announced for this year's British Podcast Awards.

The nominees include the Julia Davis/Vicki Pepperdine podcast Dear Joan and Jericha which is up for Acast Moment of The Year. It is also nominated for Best Comedy alongside Beef And Dairy Network Podcast, Birthday Girls' House Party, The All New Angelos and Barry Podcast, The Guilty Feminist and The Horne Section Podcast.

News: London Podcast Festival To Return

The London Podcast Festival is to return for its third annual festival at King's Place in north London. This year's celebration of all things pod-related will be happening from September 13 - 16. Among the highlights are Cariad Lloyd fronting an edition of the award-winning podcast Griefcast and Danielle Ward and Michael Legge's Do The Right Thing. Americans Chris Gethard and Paul F Tompkins will also be coming over for the event.
