Jerry Seinfeld's stand-up show at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne this weekend was disrupted by a pro-Palestinian protest in the audience.
This is not the first time the 70-year-old comedian has had to deal with interruptions. There was also a heckler who interrupted his comedy show in Australia with pro-Palestinian chants on June 16 at the Qudos Bank Arena.
I didn't rush to watch Unfrosted, directed by and starring Jerry Seinfeld, for a number of reasons. The star/director has said and done a few things recently that I don't entirely agree with and I didn't want to watch something that might sully the reputation of one of the greatest sitcoms of all time (Seinfeld, of course).
Veep and Seinfeld star Julia Louis-Dreyfus has announced that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The award-winning actor posted the following statement on Twitter earlier today:
"1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I'm the one"
"The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let's fight all cancers and make universal healthcare a reality."
