Beyond The Joke was lucky enough to be invited to the British Film Institute earlier this year for an exclusive screening of two episodes from the forthcoming series of Inside No. 9. Needless to say we have been asked not to give away any spoilers about the episodes that were screened. But I think we can say that one is a rather gruesome tale about criminals and the guests are Phil Daniels and Anita Dobson.
One of the many takeaways from this week's episode, Lip Service, is that it's so different to the last two episodes in the current series of Inside No 9.

Rejoining Mackenzie Crook are Steve Pemberton as Mr Braithwaite, Rosie Cavaliero as Mrs Braithwaite, India Brown as Susan and Thierry Wickens as John. Plus Shirley Henderson (Harry Potter) as Saucy Nancy and Vanessa Redgrave as Peg.
League of Gentlemen and Inside No. 9 star Steve Pemberton has donated some unique memorabilia to be auctioned off to raise funds for Derian House Children's Hospice.
The actor and comedian, who can currently be seen in BBC Three's Killing Eve, is an Ambassador of the hospice. He will be hosting an online quiz while the auction closes between 5pm and 6pm on May the 9th, 2020.

Inside No. 9 co-star and co-writer Steve Pemberton is to join the cast of Killing Eve for the third series of the acclaimed drama.
No details have been revealed yet of Pemberton's role. He is one of a number of new actors who will be appearing alongside Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh in the series developed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and based on the novels by Luke Jennings.
