Cult podcasts Comics Solving Problems and Let’s Kill Twitter are taking each other on in a special showdown in which they both make their live debuts, having formed during lockdown. The event will happen at the Bill Murray in London, N1 on Sunday, 6th February from 4.30pm - 6.30pm.

To coincide with one of the world’s largest comedy festivals, the Edinburgh Fringe, and as a salute to #ScottishTwitter conversations, Twitter is opening an immersive visitor centre on the doorstep of Edinburgh’s famous Royal Mile.
In a global first, Twitter is to stream its first comedy show. Sponsored by UKTV’s entertainment channel Dave, #LaughAt2017 will stream on @livecomedy on Sunday 17 December at 10.30pm.
It is the first time that Twitter has branched out into a comedy show with comics taking a look back at the last twelve months in the end of year stand-up show
So the good news is that The Wright Way will not be coming back. Shane Allen, the BBC's Comedy head honcho has confirmed that there will be no second series of Ben Elton's risible, dated Health & Safety so-called sitcom.
It has been a funny few days for me on Twitter. I did not think I have ever been blocked by anyone and then over the weekend I discovered by accident that two comedians had blocked me. I found out about the first when I tried to follow him and the message "you have been blocked from following this account at the request of the user."
