Vic and Bob's return to the Big Night Out format on BBC4 seems to have invigorated them. In the first show of the second four-part run there are moments that are every bit as funny as their early 1990s C4 glory days.
Richard Herring's acclaimed Leicester Square Theatre Podcast has been getting out and about recently, interviewing stars all over the country. Recent scoops have included Michael Sheen, Russell Howard and Caroline Quentin and he has just released his interview with Vic Reeves, recorded in Canterbury this summer.
The transmission details of the new series of Vic And Bob's Big Night Out have been revealed.
The first of four episodes will be broadcast on BBC4 on Wednesday November 27 at 10pm.
Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer will be mixing new characters and crazy new concepts with old classics such as Novelty Island and Judge Nutmeg dispensing punishment to one unsuspecting audience member.

The first episode of their new BBC4 series will be followed by an onstage Q&A with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer themselves.
