More names have been announced as part of Pleasance Theatre Trust’s Edinburgh Fringe Programme. Featuring 139 new additions across comedy and theatre, including household comedy names, internationally acclaimed theatre companies and children’s show, here are some comedy highlights from the programme.
The Pleasance London has launched of their brand new monthly mixed-billed comedy night, Cut Price Comedy and announced over 100 acts for their annual Work in Progress Comedy Season for 2026.
Featuring top names in comedy for only £5, Cut Price Comedy launches with Edinburgh Comedy Award winners Sam Nicoresti and Ayoade Bamgboye, as well as Taskmaster favourite John Kearns on January 27.

The Pleasance has announced its first batch of Edinburgh Fringe shows.
