The Comedy.co.uk Awards shortlist has been revealed. 430 new British comedy shows on TV and radio in 2019 have now been whittled down to a shortlist of just 60. As well as individual categories one of the 60 shortlisted titles will be crowned Comedy Of The Year. Fans can vote for their favourites at this link here.
Voting closes on Sunday 26th January 2020 at 11:59pm. The winners will be announced on Monday 27th January.
The winners of the second annual North West Comedy Awards have been announced. The Awards night was held at the Frog and Bucket Comedy Club Manchester on Wednesday 8 January.
The awards are organised by the Frog and Bucket Comedy Club and A Rush Of Laughter comedy management company and nominations and winners were voted for by the public.

BBC2's Inside No. 9, written by and starring Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton, has been named Comedy Of The Year in the annual Comedy.co.uk Awards. Other winners include Taskmaster, Red Dwarf and Dead Ringers. The anthology series, currently airing on BBC2 on Tuesdays, also won Best TV Comedy Drama.
The BBC Three sitcom Uncle, starring Nick Helm, is among the nominees for the Broadcast Awards announced tonight.
Other notable comedy programmes in contention include Inside No 9, penned by Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton and Toast of London, which has picked up the most nominations in the forthcoming British Comedy Awards.
The Broadcast Awards winners will be announced on February 4 next year in a ceremony at the Savoy Hotel in London. Here are the main comedy-related categories.
