Richard Herring will extend his critically-acclaimed brand new tour, Can I Have My Ball Back?, which saw Richard return to stand up for the first time in six years. Extended by 29 dates from February to June 2025, the tour includes dates in Dublin, Cardiff, Brighton, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham, Newcastle, Salford and Bristol, as well as a return to London’s Leicester Square Theatre.
Richard Herring has revealed how he and his double act partner Stewart Lee were once rejected as potential sketch writers for mainstream double act Little and Large.
Herring has recently put a number of artefacts from his archive on sale on ebay and they include a rejection letter from the BBC after he and Lee had submitted some ideas to the makers of Syd Little and Eddie Large's hit BBC series.
Peter Richardson, Jennifer Saunders And Stephen Mangan are set to appear at a special screening of two Comic Strip films in March.
The screenings of The Hunt for Tony Blair and GLC The Carnage Continues will take place in London at Picturehouse Central on March 23. They will be followed by a Q&A featuring comic Strip founder Richardson, Jennifer Saunders and Stephen Mangan.
